How Sookul uses your data and how to exercise your rights.

The controller for platform processing is SAMPSON ZANGO, operating as ETS SOOKUL, Douala, Cameroon. For questions or requests: contact@sookul.com or the help centre.
We process account and profile information, preferences, bookings, messages, verification documents, payment references and technical logs needed for the service. A child’s learning information is managed through their representative’s account. Published teacher profiles are visible to visitors.
Processing serves to deliver the requested service, maintain security, prevent fraud, handle complaints and meet applicable obligations. Where consent is required for an optional feature, you may refuse or withdraw it without losing access to other features.
Private information is restricted to the users concerned and authorised staff according to their duties. Hosting, email and payment providers help deliver the service. CamPay processes payments; video lessons use Jitsi. A YouTube video loads only after you agree. These services may process data in other countries.
Identity documents are not published on profiles. Card entry is handled by the payment provider; never send security codes to support. You can request the provider list and details of processing locations at contact@sookul.com.
Session cookies support login and security. The language cookie stores your choice for one year. Public filter lists are temporarily stored on your device to help on slow connections. Accepting the terms does not include consent to advertising.
Account information is kept while the account is used. A deletion request starts account closure and anonymisation; pending transactions and data required for accounting, security or disputes may be retained separately. Backups may remain until rotation. Support explains restrictions applicable to your request.
You may request access, correction, a copy, deletion or restriction of your data and, where applicable law provides, portability or objection. Contact support from your account or by email; proportionate identity verification may be needed. You may complain to the competent data-protection authority.
